My first yoga class

Yesterday I had my first yoga class. :)

I’m so excited doing all those stretching and balancing stuff. Having a litte bit experience in martial art give me some flexibility to do some ‘dangerous’ pose. ehehe :)

I have came accross a site saying that, learning yoga is not allowed in Islam and also some site saying it is ok .

Well, I do some research and base on below link , I will take YOGA is ok for me. (currently..until I figure out anything else)

The “Yoga” of Islamic Prayer

Islam and Yoga

Is yoga allowed in Islam?

My intention to learn yoga is just for as a excercise and to have better health. So, in my humble opinion, it should be ok.

Hopefully, I can do this pose after some time.. :)

Many yoga classes are out there, and you may be turned off if you pick one that does not suit your personality and state of physical fitness. For most beginners, a hatha or vinyasa class will be most appropriate, depending on whether you want a slow or fast-paced class. These are basic styles, and you can always try something fancier later.
